Hello folks...
Where has tthis year gone to? Another fortnight has passed ever so quickly which means it's time for another challenge at:
As usual the challenge is 'Anything Goes' which makes it so much easier to join in!
We really do have a fabulous sponsor this week. We are being sponsored by Deedee's Digis who are providing some freebie digis for one lucky winner..
As usual, the ladies on the design team have been given some images to play with, and being mindful that Christmas is only 17 weeks away, I opted for some festive imagery...
What a cute digi stamp image! It was pre-coloured but I 'topped up' the intensity of the colour with pro-markers. Also, it came with some matching patterned papers in pastel shades which are perfect for non-traditional colour schemes.
I'm entering this card into the challenges at:
Moving Along With The Times - Snow in summertime
Christmas Cards All year Round - Snowflakes
Christmas Card Challenges - Anything goes
12 Months Of Christmas - Snow People
A Snowflake's Promise - Christmas / Winter
Thanks for visiting

My niece Lucy is seven next week and is currently going through the pink and glittery stage! Hence the need to use lots of pink and sequins in today's card...
I've made the shaker using circle dies, acetate and loads of sticky pads. What I learnt today is that sticky pads are also sticky on their sides which is why there are sequins all around the edge - next time I do a shaker I'll need to use something to get rid of the stickiness!
I've tried to create an embossed effect behind the shaker using white die-cut numbers on a white backing and I've added a computer printed greeting - Copperplate Gothic font.
I'm entering this card into the challenges at:
Crafty Friends Challenge - clean and simple
Quirky Crafts Challenges - quirky embossing
Glitter and Sparkle Challenges - happy birthday
CAS-ology -
Thanks for popping in...

Today's card features one of my favourite things - a rainbow...
It is based on the lovely sketch over at Less Is More..
I cut a load of 5mm strips of card in rainbow colours and fixed them to a white linen card base following the shape of the sketch. The greeting is a Paper Smooches word die. very simple to make but the bright colours really stand out - who doesn't love a rainbow!
I've also entered this card into the challenges at:
Chocolate Coffee and Cards - use a sentiment
Alphabet Challenge Blog - N for no designer papers
Thanks for looking!

Today's card was made using a fab freebie die that came with this month's Papercraft Essentials magazine. I've made owls with it but it's so versatile that frogs, cats and ladybirds can also be made with it!
Aren't they cute! I'm entering this card into the challenges at:
Less Is More - congratulations
Crafty Friends - clean and simple
Cute Card Thursday - anything goes

Hello folks...

Foe my design team card I have used this gorgeous shoe digi by Bugaboo:
I've coloured the shoe with pro-markers and then fussy cut the image. the patterned paper came free with Making Cards magazine many moons ago and I created the greeting in Word using Smell The Roses font.

Today's card is an odd little thing, one of those special requests all card makers get...
Those with young children of the male variety may well recognise these two characters - Super Mario and his dinosaur Yoshi. Who knew Mario had a dinosaur?!
I kept this very simple cos it would have been so difficult to add patterned papers and embellishments. I found the image through Google then simply printed 3 copies and did a bit of decoupage to add some depth. The colours are bold and bright and perfect for Oscar (the son of my friend, Angela) who is just turning 5.
I'm entering this effort into the 'anything goes' challenges at:
Through the Craftroom Door
Crafting From The Heart
Sisters of Craft
Thanks for popping in!

Today's card is another cute birthday card for my box at work. I don't know when penguins became so popular but I can't make enough penguin themed cards!
This card is inspired by the following challenges:
Less Is More - use berry colours
The Paper Players - it's hip to be square
Always Something Creative - CAS
Animal Friends Challenge - at the zoo
I've used the cutest digi from the appropriately named Blackberry Jelly who has loads of freebie images, fussy cut him and added some die cut balloons coloured in 'berry shades' with pro-markers. The die cut greeting is from Paper Smooches and I've used silver peel-off 'lines' for the balloon strings.
