I decided to use this lovely simple sketch at Sketch-Tanten #40 -
This is what I created
I've printed the image onto linen textured card and coloured it with a mixture of Copics and Spectrum Noir pens. The papers are from a pad called 'Vintage Garden' from The Range.
I've added some tiny lilac pearls for some of the flower centres and 3 larger ivory pearl in the top right corner. The greeting was printed using Zolano Serif font.

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, I love the muted colours. My crocus leaves have just appeared here in Lancashire, but my rhubarb is now 10 inches high and about to unfurl its first leaves!
ReplyDeleteLovely card pretty image - we are way behind up here in northern scotland - my bulbs are olny just poking through the soil, but hopefully spring on its way soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing at Allsorts 'Old Favourites'challenge this week and good luck x Susan x
