Today's card was made for a friend for her auntie who is coming up 60. I used a variety of intricate dies which work really well together...
The numbers are also dies and I've added some red gems for a bit of bling. The pretty floral patterned paper is from a pad from The Range I'm entering this into the 'anything goes' challenges at:
Today's card was a quickie as I nearly forgot my friend's birthday tomorrow!!...
The outer frame is a digi from Delicious Scraps - it coordinates perfectly with the inner digi from The Digistamp Boutique. I used some lovely linen card to add some texture and coloured the image using pastel pro-markers. The tiny pearl embellishments are from The Range. The greeting was printed using Hey Pretty Girl font. I'm entering this card into the challenges at: Less is More- use a frame Glitter n Sparkle - for a special lady Creative Friday- flowers Fab n Funky - flowers CAS-ual Friday - no dies allowed
As
usual the challenge is 'Anything Goes' which makes it so much easier to
join in. Today's sponsor is the fabulous Morgan Fitzsimmons at Morgan's ArtWorld - a lovely place to pick up some gorgeous fantasy images and digital stamps...
This is what I have created using one of Morgan's images...
I'm so please with how this has turned out - I think I'll give it to one of our Mams on Mother's Day this Sunday.
I've used some mint green polka dot paper from my stash and coloured the image using
co-ordinating pro-markers - a die cut circle in the patterned paper gives the effect of a mount.
As a border around the circle, I've used various die-cut leaf swirls and punched daisies with coloured flat-backed pearls from my stash as centres. The greeting is a digi stamp I've had for years by Hannelie at Desert Diva.
Today's card was made out of necessity as it was impossible for to find something similar in the shops/on line... any anyway - it's so much nicer to be able to personalise a hand-made card
I didn't want the card to be fussy as it's for baby boys, so the only embellishments I've added are some leaf scroll dies and a blue gem on the crucifix I've entered this into the current challenges at:
Today's card is for a wedding that took place yesterday - I didn't want to post it until after the event!
I've used some grey and white polka dot paper for the background - this will coordinate with the wedding wallet posted earlier. The bird die is new from Sissix bought at a recent craft fair and as I didn't have a wing die, I've improvised with a leaf punch. The leaf die actually has 3 leaves on, but I cut it twice and cut a leaf off each. The heart and greeting oval are also die-cuts. I'm entering this into the challenges at: The Paper Players - cut it out Naughty or Nice #37- feature a creature Dies R Us #68 - something new (bird die) Creative Knockouts #183- die/punch frenzy Thanks for visiting Sharon x
Today's make isn't a card, but a special wallet to hold money for a wedding gift...
I scored and folded an A4 sheet of thin charcoal card to make the wallet shape and sealed the sides using double sided tape on the inside. I covered the 'flap' with grey and white polka dot patterned card and added a pink border strip. The image is a sticker from a very old wedding scrapbook kit and I've mounted it on a die cut tag. I then added a piece of white grosgrain ribbon using a slip knot. Finally, I added three coordinating epoxy hearts.
On the back of the wallet, I've added a pink address label.
