Enjoy The Journey

I always struggle with male cards because I'm definitely a bling loving card maker - I just love to use ribbons, sequins, gems etc. So the request for a 50th birthday card for a man who enjoys caravanning initially had me stumped. Then I found the perfect digi at Little Claire's...

I've tried to keep a 'travel' theme by using a part of a map from a road atlas as the backing paper (these are very cheap!) and a 50 miles per hour road sign for the age. The image is coloured with pro markers and the font is Copperplate Gothic.

I've entered this card into the 'Anything Goes' challenges at:

Thanks for popping in!

  1. Another stunning card, you are so talented!

  2. A great card which fits the theme very well. Using the map paper is a great idea.

  3. I love your masculine card. Would you let me showcase your card and share a link to your blog post in what I call Manly Monday? It's a post on my blog where I share masculine cards (of all ages) as inspiration for my readers. If you are interested, please email me a direct link to your card so I can find it at grohcm at gmail dot com and I will add you to the lineup for the following Monday. I hope to hear from you.
