I was asked to make a Dad's 80th birthday card for a colleague at work in 'masculine' colours and came up with this...




I've used a very large 8x8 Kraft base to make the card stand out amongst the shop bought cards. The papers are from Papermania's Spots and Stripes metallic capsule collection - I totally love these colours and patterns. The layout is fairly simple but I think the dull gold matting makes it look 'special' enough for such an important milestone birthday.
