Step - Poppy

Now in my time I have been asked to put some weird and wonderful things on the front of cards as a greeting........... here's a new one for me! My work colleague asked for a masculine looking 60th birthday card for her 'Step - Poppy' (step father?)...

I've used a large 8x8 kraft card base to help the card stand out. The lovely patterned papers are from Papermania, the centre and numbers are die-cut and I've added a navy grosgrain ribbon for some texture.

I've entered this card into the challenges at:

Creative Moments - AG using spots and/or stripes
Penny's Paper-crafty Challenge - AG
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Die-lirious and Punchy
Crafty Gals Corner - ribbons or flourishes
Creative Card Crew - ribbon
Through The Craft-room Door - AG

Thanks for popping in!
