Fabulous 50

Today's card is for a friend of mine from work who is 50 today. She has always been a bit of a Goth - her wedding dress was black and purple - so I thought this would be the ideal colour scheme for her card...

I've used a selection of fancy dies cut in plain purple card and black rose patterned card. The central die cut in white linen cards really pops against the background. The number are cut in the same card used for the background and I've embellished with some purple coloured gems. To add a touch of shine I've also added some mirri card bits cut from a corner die.

    Beautiful card, love the black and purple combination. My sister got married in a "cadbury's" purple dress. She did have any black on it, but she did wear black ankle boots under it!
