Sometimes you just don't know where a challenge is going to take you!
Today's challenge at Less Is More is to create a one layer card using geometric shapes or patterns. Now as I don't stamp I trawled Google to find a suitable digital image that met this criteria. This is what I found:
I spent many an hour as a teenager trying to conquer this annoying contraption! In the end I took it apart and put it together again complete... and never touched it again! I therefore found this image very apt as it represents me giving up and pulling it apart.
Thanks for looking
Sharon

how cool, i used to have a cube liek that when younger, but it also had numbers on it, and you had to make 15 in every direction...it wasn't for me ;-) love the bright jewel colours, such a happy card and yet super cas

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! I remember the fun and fantastic Rubik's Cube, my daughters and their cousins used to play with this thing so much, they would sit there and try to solve the puzzle and you wouldn't hear a peep out of them on Sundays at my mom in law's house. Now a days, kids do the same with their IPods and stuff like that, how funny, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
ReplyDeleteGreat card and coloring.
Thank you for the trip down memory lane.
Maria Rodriguez.
I am sat here clapping my hands and stamping my feet with joy Sharon (well, I was before I started typing) ;-) You have picked an amazing image for this week's challenge! Such an awesome card and yes, it does bring back so many memories. What a fab image that would also be for a masculine card. Thank you so much for letting us see your creativity at Less is More.
