Penguin Party
Today's card is an order from a friend at work who wanted something penguin themed - I do seem to make a lot of penguin cards!!
I've used this very sweet digi image from 2 Cute Ink - coloured with pro-markers and mounted on scalloped die-cut circles.
I've used a large square 8x8 white base so this card will really stand out! The backing papers are from my stash and I created the greeting using Candy Round font. Finally, I've added some coloured pearls to mimic the polka dots in the backing paper.
I'm entering this card into the challenges at:
Mod Squad Challenges - make it square
Crafting By Designs - things with wings
The Crafty Addicts #37 - AG/use die-cuts
Create And Makes #12 - AG/use yellow
Dream Valley #158 - square cards only

Use Your Stuff #267 - warm summer colours
Inky Chicks #84- use 3 patterned papers (2nd entry)

This is such a fun and colourful card. I wouldn't have thought to use the different coloured pearls, but they work perfectly x
ReplyDeleteLove that the colours on your image match to perfection the colours in the background papers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing in our square cards challenge.
