Today's card is for a friend who is getting married next weekend...
It was very easy to make - the most time-consuming job was die-cutting all the flowers and swirls.
I used a large 8x8 scalloped base card and added a square piece of patterned paper - a soft pastel grey and white spotty design. Then, I started by placing various swirls in the 4 corners and added the die-cut flowers that had flat-backed pearls in their centres.
The lettering is also die-cut - I mounted the letters on tiny foam pads and used masking tape to ensure they were stuck down in a straight line!

Hunkydory Cheers
Today's card was made using a set of masculine themed Hunkydory toppers and papers that came with a magazine...
I've used an 8x8 card base so this card will really stand out! The large numbers are die-cut in gold mirri card and the smaller numbers and 'Brother' greeting are very old peel-offs (sad that I know this is Hobo font!)
I'm playing along with the challenges at:
Dragonfly Dreams - for a man/boy
Unicorn Challenge #44 - for men/boys
Try It On Tuesday - it's a man's world
Crafty Gals Corner #193 - you're the man
Crafty Catz #466 - male/father's day
Crafty Calender June - masculine

Happy Day
Another quick card using the die-cut decoupage pad I bought from The Works a few weeks ago...
The decoupage greeting was put together very easily using foam pad and the butterfly strip came with the kit. I used a wallpaper sample for the backing paper (from Graham and Brown - a subtly shiny bark effect). Finally I added some flat-backed pearls to embellish the butterflies.
