Just For You Owl

I had an afternoon off work today to enjoy the last of this year's sunshine and to mow the lawn. I then relaxed with a cuppa and added to my stash of cards with this:

What I used:

7 x 7 inch white base card

Burgundy Core'dinations

Stamps - Jennifer Ellory (mag freebie about 5 years ago)

Coloured with - Pro-markers

Paper - Nitwits

Kraft card

Embossing folder - Sissix

Branch die - Memory Box

Flat pearls - The Range

Those tiny leaves were tricky to attach but worth the effort as they compliment the branch on the stamp!

I'm playing along with the challenges at:

I ♥ ProMarkers #445 - AG plus embossing

The Paper Shelter #486 - layer it up

Make My Monday #158 - embossing

Double D Challenge - owls or pumpkins

Retro Rubber #168 - tic tac toe (flies/foliage/circles)

Thinking of You

The current challenge at Less Is More #448 is to 'CASE' (copy and share everything) one of the design team's cards - this is the inspiration card

What I decided to take from this card was the layout - I really liked the way Elaine had arranged her tiles...

I decided to use snippets of patterned paper from a beautiful pad I had bought at The Range - florals and spots in shades of yellow and teal. The greeting came free with a magazine as part of a bigger stamp set.

A very simple card but of course that's what the concept of Less Is More is all about.
