PAPER PIERCING
We want to see some tiny holes dotted around on your creations this week ...
I got a bit excited at first when I read it because paper 'piecing' is one of my favourite techniques, then I wondered why Chrissie and Jen's cards had no paper piecing in sight so I re-read it!
I had to google paper piercing to come up with some inspiration but this is what I came up with...
The colour inspiration came from this week's challenge at The Play Date Cafe - lovely muted tones...
Hope this snow clears up soon - I have a papercraft show to go to tomorrow at Rainton Meadows - only about 5 miles away but I hate driving in the snow.
Thanks for visiting
Sharon

ReplyDeleteIv just skidded all the way down Houghton cut :/ so hoping it clears up for Rainton Meadows craft show too! Xx
Your little bit of 'googling' made for a stunning card.

Very clever use of the paper piercing effect - love it, Jo x
ReplyDeleteIt's surprising how many people muddle piecing and piercing Sharon... there's only one letter difference after all, but a whole lot of difference in the technique.
ReplyDeleteYour interpretation here is superb!
Thanks so much
Chrissie
