You're a Star !

There's 2nd birthday celebrations at Less Is More this week - I cannot believe my favourite challenge blog has been running for two years! However my heart sank a little when I saw the challenge...

Kraft & Kreme
fgs
Not possessing any kraft card whatsoever, I had to improvise - a manila folder to the rescue! Using cream linen card as a base, I cut a smaller square piece of folder and rounded the corners then die cut a star into it. The trellis effect is made by using strips of a Sissix circles die taped under the star. The kraft folder is mounted onto the base with foam pads with a further piece of folder under the star emphasising the pattern.

This was way out of my comfort zone - I just don't usually make cards like this but I'm surprised how much I like the result.
